Not all of the worlds best diving is in warm tropical waters. In fact some fantastic diving can be found on our own doorstep in the waters around the coast of the UK.
As these waters are somewhat cooler than their tropical counterparts additional thermal insulation is required to view the fabulous wrecks, varied wildlife and stunning panoramas of temperate waters. The dry suit specialty course teaches you to safely use the ultimate in exposure protection.

To enroll in a dry suit course you must be over 12 years of age, be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) and fill in and sign a medical statement.

The course is structured in two parts.

You receive a manual and video which you study at your leisure. You then spend one evening at our purpose built dive centre in London where you will be taught dry suit theory in our state of the art classrooms followed by tuition in dry suit diving in our on-site heated pool.

You then need to complete two open water dives. This can be done over one day at either a local lake or at Portland in Dorset.

The cost for the course is £149 which includes manual, video, emblem (given upon certification) tuition, equipment*, air fills and certification.

Not included are transport to the dive site and entry or boat fees which are payable locally.

* For all courses subsequent to entry level you must provide your own basic equipment of mask, fins and snorkel and gloves if required
